There is good news for those who want to play Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC seamlessly in co-op mode: The mode has finally been updated. Let’s take a look at the details together.
Updated co-op mode for Shadow of the Erdtree DLC
Last week the highly anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree DLC was released and with it a new version of the game. Updates often require mods to be updated as well, otherwise they can be incompatible. Seamless co-op mode was updated today, which means you can play Shadow of the Erdtree with your friends more easily.
Dalvik, one of the moderators of the Seamless Co-op mode’s Discord server, said, “While not perfect, Elden Ring and its DLC have reached a usable state for playing in co-op.” If you try to play the mode tonight, you may experience some FPS drops. The update to the mode is pretty comprehensive because it allows you to keep the progress you’ve made from your previous co-op games.
The update also includes invasions for the first time, so you can enjoy the classic online experience. Other handy additions include scaling enemies’ levels, giving items earned in conversations to all players, and fixing old bugs like enemies dropping below the ground.
The game’s director, Hidetaka Miyazaki, recently said that he doesn’t mind people using such mods and may even add similar features to his games in the future. So you don’t have to worry about “Will mods be removed?”.
The Seamless co-op mode updated for the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC offers players a more enjoyable gameplay experience with their friends. What do you think? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
